{"id":3170,"date":"2021-05-20T15:30:46","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T19:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.portatax.cl\/mineria\/?p=3170"},"modified":"2023-12-05T15:07:13","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T19:07:13","slug":"minera-canadiense-acuerda-venta-de-produccion-de-oro-en-chile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.portatax.cl\/mineria\/2021\/05\/20\/minera-canadiense-acuerda-venta-de-produccion-de-oro-en-chile\/","title":{"rendered":"Minera canadiense acuerda venta de producci\u00f3n de oro en Chile"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>(publicado por: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.df.cl\/\">https:\/\/www.df.cl\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Capstone cerr\u00f3 el trato en abril con Wheaton Precious Metals, que recibir\u00e1 todo el metal de la faena hasta las 285 mil onzas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La minera canadiense Capstone cerr\u00f3 un acuerdo por US$ 290 millones el pasado 21 de abril con otra minera de su pa\u00eds, Wheaton Precious Metals, para la venta de oro, relacionada con la mina Santo Domingo que opera en el norte de Chile, detall\u00f3 Latin Lawyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte de la operaci\u00f3n, Wheaton pagar\u00e1 primero un dep\u00f3sito por adelantado de US$ 30 millones, seguido de transferencias de otros US$ 260 millones que se har\u00e1n por partes. Adem\u00e1s, realizar\u00e1 pagos continuos por las entregas de oro equivalentes al 18% del precio a contado del metal, hasta que el dep\u00f3sito inicial se reduzca a cero. Despu\u00e9s de eso, pagar\u00e1 el 22% del precio a contado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A cambio, la multinacional de streaming de metales preciosos recibir\u00e1 la producci\u00f3n total de oro de la mina operada por Capstone hasta que se hayan entregado 285.000 onzas. El derecho de la empresa se reducir\u00e1 posteriormente al 67% de la producci\u00f3n de oro de la mina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para dar curso a la transacci\u00f3n, Capstone explic\u00f3 que contrat\u00f3 a la firma de abogado Blake, Cassels &amp; Graydon LLP en Vancouver, y al estudio legal FerradaNehme, en Santiago. En tanto, la contraparte fue asesorada por los estudios McCarthy T\u00e9trault LLP -en Toronto y Vancouver- y Bofill Mir &amp; Alvarez Jana Abogados, en la capital chilena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto Santo Domingo se encuentra en la regi\u00f3n de Atacama y Capstone tiene el 100% de su propiedad.
